We the Owners

Employee ownership has had a growing number of articulate spokesmen over the years since Louis Kelso invented the ESOP. But one voice has been conspicuously missing — that of the employee owners themselves. The film We The Owners fills this vacuum! Here employee-shareholders of three companies tell us in their own words how owning as well as working has broadened their perspective, developed unsuspected abilities, and, in the process, made their companies stronger and more competitive.

In showing us the difference employee ownership makes to real companies and to real people, We The Owners powerfully reminds us that property and the hope of acquiring property through hard work built America — and is still the essence of the American dream.
